Sustainable acting

Bringing responsibility to life

Deutsche Vermögensberatung has been a family-owned company for more than 47 years. Now, the second generation has taken up the reins. Sustainable thinking and value-based action have always been embedded in DVAG's DNA.

This is reflected in the personalised financial advice we offer, with an eye to the longer term. It also entails getting involved and taking responsibility, whether to protect the climate or help people in need.

Putting people centre-stage

Deutsche Vermögensberatung has been providing substantial support to the charitable association "Menschen brauchen Menschen e. V." (MbM e. V.) for more than two years now. Its work takes many forms, from broad-based education projects and swimming lessons to extensive assistance for victims of the catastrophic flooding in the Ahr valley, but primarily supports disadvantaged children and young people. This year's new focus is on helping Ukrainian children and their families. The financial advisory donated a million euros in emergency aid as soon as the crisis started. The company has also become a partner of "Athletes for the Ukraine e. V.", an association that supports children's integration into society in various ways, including via children's sports days.

Working together for children in need

Deutsche Vermögensberatung continues to support its partners "Tafel Deutschland e. V." and "Stiftung RTL – Wir helfen Kindern e. V." via its work with MbM e. V. This year alone, the family-owned company donated EUR 600,000 to help children in need and saw its own team take part in the RTL "Spendenmarathon" fundraiser for the third time. Financial advisors from across Germany joined DVAG brand ambassadors at Joey Kelly's 24-hour challenge, working up a sweat for a good cause.

Taking steps towards a sustainable future

Deutsche Vermögensberatung has been awarded the "climate-neutral company" award for a second time in recognition of its commitment to this issue. Going forward, everyone at the firm will continue working hand in hand to ensure their activities are as efficient as possible and have a low environmental impact. This means DVAG is well on the way to making its processes even more sustainable and forging ahead with these endeavours. For instance, the family-owned company has once again shown its support for reforestation and has consistently expanded projects that are already underway. Deutsche Vermögensberatung also continues to work with MbM e. V. to protect rivers and seas. This is something particularly close to the heart of extreme swimmer Nathalie Pohl, founding member of MbM e. V., who also promotes the importance of swimming lessons for children and young people.

Deutsche Vermögensberatung has been committed to helping others since its earliest days. For instance, the "Dr. Reinfried Pohl Stiftung" involves the company backing research and teaching in Marburg, while the "Anneliese Pohl Stiftung" supports cancer research. DVAG has also supported the association "Menschen brauchen Menschen e. V." since 2020. This organisation is dedicated to helping disadvantaged children and young people.
